Fagan Place Community Housing

Our architectural, civil and structural teams worked closely with Kaipara District Council and their chosen contractors to deliver this much needed housing.

The project replaced dated community housing units in Mangawhai with purpose built modern, warm, dry and healthy homes. The units themselves were prefabricated by housing provider Laminata and delivered as finished items to site. This meant the tenants were able to remain in their existing accommodation until their new homes were completed without the need for temporary accommodation.

As well as the overall master-planning of the site we undertook the foundation and subfloor design of the units, the deck and access design, pavement layouts, stormwater management and drainage design. We also produced specific reports to support an RMA application for the development.
