Hawaiki Cable Landing Station collects Silver
Hawaiki Cable Landing Station, located in Mangawhai, was entered into the Master Builders 2019 Commercial Projects Awards by McKay, who were the Project Leader for the Design and Construction of the building.
Projects entered in this competition are assessed against a scoring matrix and achieve either a Bronze, Silver or Gold, from which a National Category winner is awarded. Other awards handed out at the gala event were for Innovation, Value, Special, Sustainability, as well as the Supreme award which goes to the overall winner.
It was a very interesting evening, demonstrating some innovative and inspiring designs. Well done to McKay, along with the rest of the design and construction team of Hawthorn Geddes and Trigg Construction, for collecting a Silver award in the Industrial category, and congratulations to all who entered and took home an award!
