Do you hold a Bachelor of Engineering (or recognised equivalent) with at least 5 years practical experience as a Structural Engineer? Do you want to be involved in exciting and varied projects alongside broader engineering disciplines? Then you may be the person we are looking for.

The role will be primarily based at our Whangarei office and you will be familiar with the New Zealand Building Codes and Standards. You will have experience in commercial and light industrial buildings designs and it is essential are knowledgeable in New Zealand seismic designs. Fire engineering knowledge will also be of benefit.

The business is managed by three active directors, each operating in their relevant fields of engineering and design with a ‘hands-on’ approach to delivery. We are a highly regarded, long-standing, independent and vibrant multidisciplinary practice based in Whangarei and Warkworth with clients throughout New Zealand and beyond providing geotechnical, environmental, civil and structural engineering as well as architecture.

To fill this role, you will have good oral and written skills and you will be preferably NZ trained, qualified to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) level as a minimum.
