Kmart Whangārei

This project involved the interior fit-out of an existing building, along with some additional area built to accommodate an existing business which was relocated to allow for the new Kmart store.  Additionally a new glazed foyer was constructed to form a feature entrance.  Hawthorn Geddes worked with Opus Architecture to achieve the look Kmart requires of its stores.

Structural alterations involved steel and precast concrete, as well as masonry block.  Civil works included new heavy goods vehicle access.
