Asset Management & Maintenance Building
The proposal was to construct a new building to function as offices and associated workshop for Asset Management & Maintenance (AM&M) for the Warkworth motorway extension to operate from. Additionally the building is required to operate post-disaster, to aide in the recovery of and maintenance of the roadway.
The primary building structure is steel framed walls between steel portal frames, clad in a mixture of brick veneer, profiled metal cladding, and concrete panels.
Hawthorn Geddes provided full architectural, interior design, and engineering services, including Geotechnical site assessment, Structural analysis and Civil design for all site services, which included on-site effluent disposal and water supply.
